“How Can HR Become A Key Player Business Transformation?”
I’ve been “lucky” enough to have worked both in HR (as an HRD) and as change manger on large-scale business transformation programmes. It’s clear that change is high on the agenda for the HR profession. However, in my (not necessarily representative) experience, the HR function often plays a very limited role – for example in the organisational design or ER aspects of a restructure, or as an impacted function – rather than a core part of the transformation team. I will share some of my views on what HR professionals should be focusing on, in order to become a key player in business transformation, as well as some of my personal experiences on both sides of the ‘divide’.
